Overview

Casa Mordan sells kitchenware and cookware in the Dominican Republic, distributing brands including Lira, Monix and BRA. Moving online had to work for a customer used to seeing and handling the product first.

01The challenge

Cookware is a considered, tactile purchase. Online, the store had to answer the questions a shop assistant normally handles — material, size, what is actually in the set — while giving someone a reason to buy now rather than come in.

02The approach

Product photography leads, with categories mapped to how people shop rather than how the warehouse is organised. Seasonal offers and launch promotions sit inside the flow, backed by the practical reassurances that decide a first online order: free shipping thresholds, quality guarantee, delivery windows. A downloadable catalog keeps the wholesale side served.

What changed

The specifics,
not the adjectives.

  1. 01

Categories follow how customers shop, not how stock is filed.

  2. 02

Delivery, guarantee and shipping terms answered before checkout.

  3. 03

Promotions and launches run without touching the layout.

  4. 04

Retail and wholesale served from a single storefront.
